I think that Anne makes the funniest faces of anyone I know.

The birthday boy.

Patrick, after being awake 36 hours and having just driven 800 miles.

It's the only way to eat frosting.

Dylan and Bill prepare to welcome their new alien masters.

"Bill, when you put your elbow in my ear, I can hear the ocean!"

Very few of life's problems cannot be solved with a pirate sword.

I love Dylan's expression in this one.

It's so weird how just placing one's fingertips under the nose makes anyone appear thoughtful.

See what I mean?

Isn't it sad when Daddy gets stoned?

Of course, my theory is that just being a baby is the same thing as being stoned.

I love the way the blurring came out here.

I can't wait until Kip puts up scans of all the drawings he received; but in the meanwhile, here's the one I did.

That said, I like your drawing so much better than mine. Those darks are beautiful.

It's neat that you and I - who are, I think, the most "cartoony" of all the cartoonists who did City of Roses drawings - independently chose to draw Mr. Charlock and Mr. Keightlinger. Apparently there's just something essentially cartoony about those two characters.
